You can find important wardrobe staples at thrift stores.
Behold: black pants. Black pants are in my top five of most needed items.
My basic clothing top five?
1. perfect t-shirt
2. jeans that you can wear every day.
3. cotton dress that you can wear every day.
4. blazer you can wear every day.
5. black pants.
I just realized. Shoes will need their own top five! Later....
Black pants!
This is not an occasional sighting at your local thrift store. Modern styles are constantly coming in. They are not all old, vintagey, 80's vibe (which is also super cool).
I didn't even have to hem these. Always have to hem.
There are so many brands to choose from. Even from your "go to, black pants", stores.
These black pants are The Limited, Drew Fit. I paid $6.
**QUICK TIP.
Now that I own these pants, was basically able to take them on a test drive for $6, I would go back and buy them at The Limited.
One of my New Year's pledges was to inject more sparkle into my wardrobe. I found this DKNY sequin tank at Turn Style consignment store in Minneapolis.
Because black pants get the "basic" stamp. I will wear them in ways that make me happy. They may, however, anger my mother. Stay tuned for more posts about these fancy pants....
