WHY SHOP THRIFT? OWN YOUR STYLE

Ever have one of those days where you feel like you could kick butt?
Yea, me too.
This is my favorite clothing combination.

Jeans, boots, favorite t-shirt of the moment, and jacket.

Its the most "me" I ever feel.

That's a good recipe for kicking butt.
I attempt to start my days with this attitude.

The jeans are Gap Always Skinny.
They actually fit my body and don't shrink to fit.

I heart these jeans.

Shop Gap for their sales. Denim is always in the mix.

JEANS: $20

The jacket is Theory. It is a really light weight brushed linen.
Ridiculous sale at Saks Off Fifth.
Theory don't come cheap, but I love it and snatch it up when I can.

JACKET: $20.00

Even in the heat of summer, you can count on the air conditioning at work to chill your bones.
Working in an office requires layering.

I'm pretty sure you are nodding in agreement.

That is a pink and purple t-shirt with skulls on it.
I like this shirt because I think it may have been someone's art project.
It doesn't look mass produced.  If you recognize it, let me know!

I found it at a thrift store in Los Angeles.

T-shirt:  $.50
(Thats fitty cent!)

Shoe boots from Len Druskin in Minneapolis. These shoes are so dang comfortable.
I wore them for 24 hours in New York City.  No wonder I feel fearless!

They are the lightest shade of purple and still look grey when you need them to.

SHOES: $10.00

The necklace feels like vintage, pretty, grandma gave it to you.  I like the contrast with those skulls.
It is pre-owned.  I found it at my favorite Goodwill concept store in Minneapolis: Second Debut.

I think that necklaces can be hard to shop for; especially new.
There is a lot of well made, pre-loved jewelry out there, you just gotta look.

NECKLACE: $10.00

If I had to dress one way forever, this just might be it.
