WINTER STYLE? ACTUALLY NO. ITS THE FIRST DAY OF SPRING.

This is not a joke. It is the first day of spring.

March 20, 2013.  It snowed. And snowed, and snowed.  And what the snow doesn't understand is that it is the first day of spring. Give me a break, man!

How to combat this dilemma?
Wear the brightest most spring inspired color and say, "in your face, winter!"

Yes. I realize I live in Minneapolis.

I will dress like a lady and I will not let this weather get me down.

I wore this outfit to work today.  Fun fact? The amount of people that commented on my lovely bright jacket.  The sad part?  When I said, "well it is the first day of spring, so..."  The unanimous response was, "oh, it is?"   Give me a break, man!

My most favorite shorty boots are Anne Klein.  I found them in brand new shape.  Thrifted for $5.
They fight winter like a champ and keep me out of rubber boots everyday.

**QUICK TIP.
Buy boots at thrift stores.  You won't worry so much if they get beat up in bad weather.  They will last and are easily replaceable at this price point.

In Minnesota, we can have snowballs fights on the first day of spring.  I guess that's a bonus!
